Hockey PEI is pleased to announce the launching of the first edition of our newsletter entitled “IN THE CREASE”.
This newsletter aims at primarily informing members as to the happenings at Hockey PEI and hockey across the Island. IN THE CREASE will be released on a by-monthly basis and our goal is to keep Islanders up-to-date with not only hockey, but with fitness, nutrition and clinics that will be run during the course of the 2008-2009 season.
Highlights this month include such things as Rule Emphasis, Coaches wearing helmets, Fitness & Nutrition tips, Clinics and dates to remember.....Check it out by clicking the Newsletter tab on the SAMHA website powerbar.

Registration for the 2008 - 2009 Minor Hockey season gets under way on Saturday, September 20th from 10am to 1pm, and on Friday, September 26th from 6pm to 9pm in the Lobby of the Credit Union Place. A late fee of $25 will apply to all registrations received after the September 26th registration.

AAA tryouts will be from October 3-9 and AA try-outs will be the week of October 10th -16th. There will be a $25 fee for each tryout session and will include 3 ice skill sessions.

Just a reminder to anyone who is applying for Kidsport to help offset registration fees. Parents should apply before they register for this Minor Hockey season.
Kidsport/Sport Pei are asking that applicants apply within six weeks of your sport's registration date. SAMHA will be holding registrations early September 2008.
